My
poems celebrate the gossip, good humour and argument that
rattles round a small community and so need a community of
voices to bring them fully to life.
I
am fortunate to have found a body of people who have an understanding
of the characters I write about or are able to make the imaginative
leap into their lives. I was delighted that everyone I approached
willingly took part in recordings and live performance, often
in front of large audiences.
